Thanks heaps to Lloyd of the organisational skills…

Its a pretty standard formula, book somewhere nice for dinner. The girls get to wear formal dresses and look pretty. The guys get to wear suits… and generally not carry it off. We then all leave dinner, head to the Raz via Bar CaVa. And possibly drink more than is sensible.

A lack of gossip this year… can we arrange some random snogging for the Xmas meal? I suggest Finn & Stu

Lots of photos on Facebook (its going to take over the world)

I am sure there are other albums out there too… My favourite pics.

Thanks Lloyd

Lloyd is running a minibus day trip to somewhere very good (to be decided) - lakes or Wales depending where the rain falls. Mid grade (III), perfect training for Alps, and perfect for everyone else too - bus is filling up fast - ring LLoyd to book your place.

Right, I have been asked to organise a trip for this sunday coming. It is
going to be suitable for all club members. There is a minibus going! to get
yourself a seat on said minibus, send me an email asap! The grading of this trip will be mostly grade 3 which everyone I have paddled
with (in the last year) is easily capable of!
I would especially like to see on this trip:
Chris Carters
Katie Lancaster
Ashley Hughes
Tamsin
Soph Yarwood
Helen Jones
Alexey
Claire
Dale
John (watson)
Mary
as you guys are coming to the alps! There will be room for all, but let me know
ASAP! I will also be collecting names in the pub on Thursday evening

Hooray hooray

Fantastic news, LUCC girls won silver medal at BUSA, congratulations!!!

Unlucky for the blokes - a great start, winning all their games, but all this came to an end with a mix up over cards and their games being voided :-( Well, now they have a taste of what it feels like to be on a winning streak, I’m sure LUCC boys will be back next year ready to do a great job.

The girls team were on fire the whole weekend, ending with a close-fought match against defending champions Durham. Durham were held to 1-1 til half time, but managed to break away and score a further 2 goals, winning BUSA once more.

Results at Busa website

Fantastic result!
