Want to know what your getting into this summer in the Alps? Have a look at these web sites. The first is basically the french equivalent to the uk rivers guidebooks.
http://www.eauxvives.org/rivieres/
Click on the par regions and then the bottom right hand area (Provence Alpes Cote d’Azure) and it has some of the rivers we paddle.
One problem its all in french but i managed to understand a lot of it. (Mostly just a lot of commenting that the water is cold) but there are also some good pics and you can brush up on french paddling terms.
Web cam of Argentiere (that is where we’ll be staying), on the Durance, here:

Browse around for more info, and web cams of other rivers.
Weather for all of France

Another canoe site: Some english and some french; http://www.canoe-france.net/Â (Ed - this domain seems to be sold now - anyone know the new home of canoe-france?)
Grading descriptions made me laugh.
Good links to weather and river levels but not so much about the rivers the club will paddle. Plenty of info on the Allier and Ardeche so Rachel, Alison, Fran have a look and don’t let the pictures put you off. The rest of the river is flatter! I hope!. But hoping the Ardeche is a bit rougher.
